Toledo emergency crews were on the scene of a rollover accident near Locust and Baker.

The driver of a Ford Expedition failed to yield and was struck by a silver van. The collision caused the SUV to rollover.

One person inside was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Expedition will be cited.

    Nazia H. Awadawas struck and killed this morning near the Franklin Avenue and Delaware Avenue intersection in Toledo. Police say, around 5:00 this morning, Awada stepped out onto Franklin Avenue and into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Awada was transported to St. Vincent's ER where she was pronounced dead. Investigators say it doesn't appear that alcohol or speed were factors. The investigation is still on-going.

    SANDUSKY, Ohio - Two people were injured Saturday night by a ride at the Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky.A cable on the Skyhawk swing ride's carriages disconnected at around 10 p.m., according to a Cedar Point spokesperson.The cable then came in contact with two guests. One victim was treated and released at the scene. The other was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, the spokesperson adds.Ride crews had immediately shut down the Skyhawk ride and notified the park's emergen...
