1 person recovering after car vs. train accident

Posted: Updated:

One person is recovering this morning after a car collided with a train. Emergency crews were called to the intersection of West Barre and Meyers Road in Archbold yesterday.

Dispatchers tell 13abc it appears the car hit the train. The area where the accident occurred is a place where crews switch trains, so the locomotive was slow moving. Dispatchers say the driver of the car likely did not suffer serious injuries.
