Federal, state and local law enforcement officials are coming together this afternoon to announce an indictment related to the searches last year to several IHOP restaurants in Northwest Ohio and Indiana.
The FBI indicted employees from six IHOP locations in the area Wednesday for charges including money laundering, wire fraud, aggravated theft and harboring illegal aliens.

1. GAS PRICES
Gas prices have gone up nearly 20 cents in just four weeks and analysts are predicting a jump to over $4 a gallon by spring. Mounting tensions in Iran are partly to blame but it's also because of an increased demand from China, refinery closures in the US and the daily need to drive.
2. COOPER TIRE
The union representing locked out workers at Findlay's Cooper Tire and the company returned to the bargaining table for the first time in months. They failed to reach a deal today but promised to return to the table tomorrow. more than one thousand workers have been locked out since before Thanksgiving.
3. WOODMORE SCHOOLS
Woodmore Schools are once again asking voters to say yes to a bond issue. After a bond issue failed in the fall, the district is now putting another one on the primary ballot in March. The levy would raise money to replace the elementary school.

4. STATE OF THE STATE
Some Ohio lawmakers have to pay their own way to Governor John Kasich's State of the State address tomorrow in Steubenville. State law bars lawmakers from using tax dollars for travel expenses so some elected officials may use campaign cash. Political experts say moving the speech to Stuebenville allows Kasich to reconnect with the public after his bruising battle with public sector unions.
5. CONTROVERSIAL SUPER BOWL AD
A Republican candidate for US Senate from Michigan is taking heat for a campaign ad that aired during the Super Bowl attacking incumbent Democrat Debbie Stabenow. She says Pete Hoekstra should be "embarrassed" by the ad. It uses a young Asian woman speaking in broken English to label the Democratic senator from Michigan as "Debbie Spenditnow."

6. MORTGAGE ABUSE SETTLEMENT
(AP) - More than 40 U.S. states have agreed to a nationwide settlement over foreclosure abuses. Five of the nation's largest mortgage lenders would be forced to reduce loans for 1 million households. And the remaining holdouts could sign onto a deal in the coming days. The lenders - Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Citigroup and Ally Financial - would also send checks for about $2,000 to hundreds of thousands of people who lost homes to foreclosure.
7. POSTAL SERVICE EFFICIENCY
Despite its financial problems, the US Postal Service is number one in efficiency. The USPS scored the highest in efficiency in a recent survey by a British Consultancy comparing postal services in G20 nations. It also delivers the most letters per employee and serves the most citizens per post office.
