1. TOLEDO PROJECT INVESTMENT

A big investment for projects in the glass city is expected to be announced later this morning. Toledo Mayor Mike Bell along with representatives from Columbia Gas and the Regional Growth Partnership will be on hand to details major projects in Toledo slated for this year. The final product will be a 20-year, $200 million dollar investment to upgrade the city's natural gas delivery system.

2. TOLEDO FIBERGLAS TOWER DESIGNATION

Toledo City Council meets today and members are expected review a possible "landmark designation" for the city's Fiberglas Tower.

3. TARTA MEETINGS CONTINUE

TARTA has been holding series of public meetings this week. It's a federal-requirement so that TARTA can update and improve service and maintain or expand coverage. After two meetings in Sylvania yesterday there are two more public meetings today. There's one at the Rossford Community Center from one until three and another at the Way Public Library in Perrysburg from 6:30 until 8.

4. TAXPAYERS UNITED OF AMERICA IN TOLEDO

A group working to end pension payouts for new government hires in Ohio is coming to Toledo today. "Taxpayers United of America" revealed data on payouts for employees in Columbus earlier this week. They plan to talk numbers, specific to Lucas County, during a news conference.

5. OH: VP BIDEN IN COLUMBUS

Vice President Joe Biden is making a second trip to the buckeye state in less than a month. He's scheduled to speak at the Ohio Newspaper Association's convention in Columbus today. Biden was in the Columbus area last month to talk about college affordability.

6. MI: GOVERNOR HOLDING FACEBOOK TOWN HALL

(AP) - Michigan Governor Rick Snyder is holding a second town hall meeting on Facebook today. This time the Governor will take residents' questions just after he presents his 2012-13 budget to lawmakers. He held his first Facebook town hall following last month's State of the State address.

7. U.S. MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE PLAN

Federal and state government leaders are close to making a deal that would help millions of Americans dealing with foreclosure. As part of that plan, five of the nation's largest banks would pay out up to $37 billion dollars to settle charges that they unfairly foreclosed on thousands of homeowners during the housing crisis. Homeowners would receive cash to help re-finance *or* reduce their mortgages.

8. STUDY: ECONOMY AFFECTS YOUNG AMERICANS MOST

A new Pew study shows that the economic slump is hitting younger adults harder than any other group. The survey showed that 41% of Americans believe young adults have taken the biggest hit. 29-precent say it's middle-aged people. And 24-percent say it's seniors. Only 1/3 of young adults surveyed said their financial situation is "good" or "excellent".
