Crews investigate fatal crash in BG

The Wood county Sheriff's Office is investigating a single car fatal crash. The crash happened in the 19600 block of Mercer Road in Middleton Township.

A vehicle driven by Jennifer Veler of Bowling Green was traveling northbound on Mercer Road when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and into a ditch. The vehicle then struck a residential bridge culvert. Veler was pronounced dead at the scene.
