Findlay Domino’s owner in national commercial

Posted: Updated:
FINDLAY, Ohio -

You may have seen the new Domino's pizza commercial featuring the owner of the Findlay store. The national ad campaign spotlights his latest creation called "Parmesan Bread Bites."

The bites are being sold in thousands of Domino's stores across the country, but owner Brian Edler isn't resting on his laurels. He's already cooking up a few new ideas for the national pizza chain.

The ad featuring Brian has been getting a lot of air time.

"There are a lot of things you test, and then people walk away shaking their heads," Edler says. "But on this one they kept coming back, and they were always gone in three to four minutes, and we always had to make more, so we knew right away.

Brian is a true hometown success story.

"When Brian first made them, we ate them, and we knew it was special," remembers manager Casey Hensley. "When it went national we were pretty excited!"

Brian started as a delivery driver for Domino's thirty years ago. Today he owns seven stores, and has a history of making history

"I have a couple world records, ranging from making pizza fast to longest stretch," he says. "Probably the biggest one of late was on the 50th anniversary of Domino's. I set a Guiness Book of World Records mark for most pizzas in one hour...206."

Brian is always thinking of his next big creation!

"Always working on something, but who know if they'll hit the menu again," he says.

Brian says there are three ingredients in his recipe for success: his relationship with God, doing what he loves, and his supportive family. He says anyone can be successful as long as they have passion for what they do!

You have a chance to have one of your ideas served up at Domino's. They have a program that allows customers to submit ideas. Just visit thinkoven.com.
