Ohio man proposes to girlfriend with flash mob

Posted: Updated:
CLEVELAND -

A Cleveland woman got the proposal of her dreams, when her boyfriend asked her to marry him with a flash mob.

Brooke Aldous and Cameron Amigo were both home on leave from the National Guard. Aldous had just returned from Afghanistan.

The new bride-to-be thought she was just going out with Amigo for a drink. Instead, Amigo organized a flash mob at the Velvet Dog in downtown Cleveland, the place where the two first met.

Aldous was shocked, but she said "yes!"

"I was amazed, because he knows I've always wanted to see a flash mob," Aldous says. "Then I just started seeing people I knew, and I started shaking more, and I just can't believe this. I am in awe."

"She loves flash mobs. She always has," Amigo says. "This is where we first met, so that's why I wanted to do it here."

There is no word on when the wedding will be, but, if it's anything like the proposal, you can bet it will be something to remember!

Aldous heads back to Afghanistan soon.
