The National Weather Service continued its investigation into the severe weather damage from Wednesday night, and discovered a 6th tornado in northwest Ohio. Locally, there were 2 EF-1 tornadoes and 4 EF-0 twisters.

Five tornadoes have been confirmed in northwest Ohio by the National Weather Service, from the midweek thunderstorms. There were one EF-1, and four EF-0s, touching down in Van Wert, Henry and Wood Counties.

The Storm Prediction Center says there is a high risk of severe weather for Tornado Alley today and the midsection of the country. That risk area extends to Chicago but does NOT include NW Ohio or SE Michigan. We will still see areas of rain and occasional showers today and can't rule out a thunderstorm or two this afternoon. But we are not in the severe weather risk area today.
