Police search for suspects in 2 weekend murders

TOLEDO, Ohio -

Toledo police are searching for killers in two separate shootings overnight.

The first fatal shooting happened just before midnight Saturday on Langdon Street in south Toledo. The second happened in the parking lot of a gas station at Auburn and Monroe.

Just before midnight Saturday night, two men were shot while walking home from a bar in south Toledo. Santiago Izquierdo survived. Family members say he's in fair condition at Mercy Saint Vincent Medical Center.

Raul Izquierdo was killed.

Police say a suspect confronted the two victims, opening fire in front of several homes in the 300 block of Langdon, just off of Western.

Neighbors near Langdon and Western did not want to talk on camera out of fear for their own safety. 13abc spoke with one man who says he's moving away after living in the area for 35 years He says the gun violence is out of control.

The second fatal shooting took place at 2:40 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say a fight broke out in the parking lot of a gas station at Monroe and Auburn. Officers found 25-year-old Torian Tall behind the gas station.

Tall died at the hospital.
