Kansas State junior Erik Kynard is a favorite to win the NCAA Outdoor High Jump Championship this week in Iowa. Erik, a former Rogers Ram, has won an NCAA title before, but this year the event is key in preparation for his ultimate goal. The US Olympic Trials are just three weeks away, and Erik has received in invitation because he has cleared the US "standard" of 2.31 meters. The Olympic games begin this July in London, England.
