Overnight a major fire shut down Biddle Avenue in Wyandotte, Michigan; that's
about 45 minutes outside of Toledo.
Firefighters from numerous agencies helped hose down the historic downtown.
WXYZ
is reporting the bar ‘Lions, Tigers and Beers'" caught fire during
dinnertime while the restaurant was full of customers. Everyone made it out unharmed and the
fire was contained to one building. There are concerns about smoke and water
damage to adjacent businesses.
Investigators think the fire may have
been electrical, starting in a beer cooler near the back.
