According to the Port Clinton Police Department, a Jet Express employee received a phone call just after midnight from a man claiming to be associated with al-Qaida who said he was going to blow up one of the boats.
Police were able to trace the call back to a home in Bellevue. They discovered a juvenile made the call as a prank.
The Ottawa County prosecutor is reviewing the incident for possible charges.
