A new national poll on the 50 manliest cities in the country put Toledo eighth nationwide, up four spots from last year. It's the highest rank of any city in the state. Cleveland came in one spot below Toledo.
The study analyzes data like number of home improvement stores and motorcycles per capita, along with "unmanly" traits like high concentrations of nail salons and fancy boutiques.
As for the manliest of all cities, that goes to Oklahoma City. Most of the places making the top 10 are in the south.
When it comes to Michigan cities, Grand Rapids and Detroit came in at 30 and 31, respectively.
