Bring your Golden Ticket for a Second Chance

Posted: Updated:
BROOKLYN, Mich. – Michigan International Speedway and its Fan Appreciation Program have elevated the guest experience to new heights, including access to a NASCAR Nationwide Series autograph session on Friday.

Every account holder received a Golden Ticket in the mail with their tickets. While each ticket was not a winner, MIS is giving all the non-winning account holders the chance to be victorious.

Guests should fill out the backs of the Golden Tickets and drop them by the Fan Appreciation booth in the New Holland Fan Plaza to enter a second-chance drawing for an Ultimate Fan Experience for 2013 – race tickets, pace car rides, NASCAR garage passes, drivers meeting access and victory lane access.

"We have always taken great pride in making our guest experience the best," MIS President Roger Curtis said. "We wanted every fan a chance to win a prize through our Golden Ticket program. Then, as a bonus we added a second chance to the non-winners to only enhance the opportunity."

Also, all non-winning Golden Tickets will have the chance to play Plinko for prizes.

Some Fan Appreciation winners will also get the chance to take part in an autograph session with some of the NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers from 4 to 5 p.m. Friday inside Budweiser Acceleration. Some Plinko winners will receive wristbands to get autographs from some of their favorite Nationwide drivers like Elliott Sadler, Kenny Wallace, Justin Allgaier, Jeremy Clements, Johanna Long and T.J. Bell, among others.

Available prize packages are subject to weather conditions, scheduling and rules and regulations of Michigan International Speedway, Inc. and/or any applicable sanctioning body.  Prizes must be claimed at the Fan Appreciation Booth located in the New Holland Fan Plaza by the flag pole at Michigan International Speedway from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday June 15, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 and 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 17. Photo identification is required for prize pickup.  Prizes subject to change without prior notice.

Curtis and his staff are committed to providing its fans with memorable experiences each trip to MIS and the Fan Appreciation Program is an extension of that commitment. Fan feedback has also played an important role in many of the facility improvements that the speedway has invested over the last few years as well as the creation of the Fan Advisory Board (FAB) and Fan Advisory Network (FAN), which weighs in on many MIS initiatives.

Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is the Great Escape, a venerable NASCAR national park where fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie. It's the love of racing and the thrill of a great time for race fans and drivers alike.

All tickets are on sale at online or by phone at 800-354-1010.
