Ohio State Highway Patrol says there were two crashes on southbound I-475/US 23 at Salisbury Road/Dussel Rive early Thursday afternoon. A semi truck and an SUV were stopped in the right lane due to construction traffic, when a car rear-ended the SUV, which then clipped the semi.
Five people in the car were taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There were 3 people in the SUV; one of them was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic is slow on northbound I-475 just south of Central Avenue due to a car in the median. Both lanes are still open.
