Central Catholic High School is partnering with the NFL's Cleveland Browns at the 34th annual Irish Open golf outing on July 23 at Stone Oak Country Club.  Register for a Celebrity Foursome for your chance to golf with a Cleveland Browns alumnus as your fifth player.

Former Browns players include:

  • Greg Pruitt – selected to five Pro Bowls and part of the Raiders' Super Bowl XVII championship team
  • Kevin Mack – First round draft pick in 1984, two-time Pro Bowl selection
  • John Thierry – First round draft pick in 1994, played nine NFL seasons
  • Hanford Dixon – three-time Pro Bowl selection, credited with naming the Cleveland Browns' "Dawg Pound"

The Celebrity Foursome with Browns players is available for the afternoon session only and is limited to the first four reservations.  The total cost for the Celebrity Foursome is $1,000.

The Browns players will also be available at a cocktail hour beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Golfers who participate in the Irish Open can attend the cocktail hour as part of their golfer registration fee, or guests who are not golfing may attend the event at the price of $20 per person.

Golfer registration for the Irish Open is $125 per person for the morning session or $150 per person for the afternoon session.  Tee times for this scrambles tournament are 7:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.

Registration includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, breakfast, lunch, hors d'oeuvres, cocktail hour, prizes, and an auction.  The event will also feature hole-in-one contests, mulligans, and skins.

All proceeds from the Irish Open benefit the Central Catholic High School tuition assistance program.  For registration or more information, please contact Tracy Koralewski at 419-255-2280 ext. 1076 or email tkoralewski@centralcatholic.org.
