A wrestling coach for Liberty Center was killed Sunday morning. Mitch Aring spent six years as a teacher and wrestling coach for Liberty Center and recently accepted a position with Oregon Schools.
Police say Airing was killed when the car he was riding in drove off the side of the road, rolled over several times and hit a tree. The driver of the car is in serious condition.
The Liberty Center High School principal says counselors are on hand for students. The school is also making transportation arrangements for those who wish to attend Aring's funeral.
