Fallen tree creates mess in West Toledo neighborhood - 13abc.com Toledo (OH) News, Weather and Sports

Neighbors helped neighbors in one West Toledo neighborhood Monday, when a tree snapped and landed in their street. 

It all happened in the 5200 block of Fairgreen just off of Laskey road.  When the storms rolled through around 12:30-1:00pm the tree just snapped.  It's not clear what exactly brought it down.  Luckily no one was near it when it came down and no injuries were reported. 

To help with the cleanup, some other neighbors along Fairgreen came out to help to get the tree out of the roadway.  Their reward will probably be some firewood for the summer.
