Toledo teen drowns at Clearwater Quarry

The Wood County Sheriff's Office was called for a water rescue at Clearwater Quarry in Troy Township Wednesday evening after a teenage male disappeared underwater.

Dayquo'n Brown, 19, from Toledo, was swimming with friends, jumping from raft to raft, when someone noticed he went underwater and didn't resurface.

A dive team was called. They began their search shortly after 7:30 p.m. The teen's body was found over an hour later.

Crews attempted to perform CPR and rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
