
The Toledo Mud Hens, in partnership with the Toledo Police Department and the Lucas County Sheriff's Office, will be hosting a Substance Abuse Prevention Program for local underprivileged youth before their Noon game on Monday, June 25. Representatives from all the organizations, including Mud Hen Players, will be speaking about the importance of making positive choices and staying drug, alcohol and tobacco free. The program begins at 10:00 a. m. and nearly 900 kids will participate and attend the game that follows. All kids will be asked to recite a pledge to remain drug, alcohol and tobacco free. A second program will be held on Tuesday, July 31st.
