Students in the Sylvania School District will no longer have to leave their cell phones in their lockers during school hours.
District spokeswoman Nancy Crandell says the Board of Education voted Thursday to change its electronics policy.
Students will now be able to carry devices like cell phones around with them, as long as those devices are only used at lunch or when teachers find it appropriate in the classroom.
