President Barack Obama's schedule calls for ice cream and grassroots campaigning in a Thursday bus tour across northern Ohio.
His campaign says he will begin his Ohio trip in Maumee, near Toledo, at the Wolcott House Museum. He then stops at an ice cream social at Sandusky's Washington Park, followed by an evening rally at James Day Park in the Cleveland suburb of Parma. A campaign spokesman said a stop in the Youngstown area could be added before the bus tour heads Friday into Pennsylvania.
Ohio is expected to be a pivotal, hotly contested state in the November election.
