Brian Steinmiller was indicted on charges of Murder and Endangering Children in connection with the May 5th death of his three-month-old child Carter Steinmiller.
According to papers filed by the Wood County Sheriff's office the child died from abusive head trauma alleged to have been inflicted by Steinmiller. He was arrested last Thursday morning at his parents' home in Toledo. TPD then turned him over to Wood County authorities.
Steinmiller faces 15 a sentence of years to life if convicted on the murder charge and up to eight years in prison for child endangerment. He is being held in the Wood County Jail on $75,000 bond.
