Driver wanted in deadly hit-and-run on Hill Ave.

Toledo police are looking for the person who hit and killed Graylin Partin.  The driver never stopped.  It happened Saturday night.  Lemuel King says Graylin who they called Dennis lived in his group home for five years.

"I couldn't hardly believe it. it was like disbelief, " said Lemuel King

Police say the 57 year old man was walking on Hill avenue near Holland- Sylvania road pushing a cart in the road when he was hit. King says Dennis has a friend who lives in that area. King says he got a phone call from that friend who may have witnessed the accident

"She said she heard the noise and looked around an tried to see what was going on and she ran to the street first she saw his shopping cart his bicycle and found him laying down the street a little ways," said Lemuel

King says Dennis was far from homeless and well known by many people

"He was a likeable guy always talked a lot if you could understand what he was saying. He would give you the shirt of his back if he saw you were in need he didn't have a lot but he would always share what he had," said Lemuel

Now police need you to help officers track down the driver who hit and killed Dennis and kept going.

"It a shame you hit somebody or something and just keep on going. You took an individuals life an innocent individuals life," said Lemuel
