Boil advisory for BGSU campus

Posted: Updated:
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -

As a safety precaution, the City of Bowling Green has issued a boil
water advisory for part of BGSU's campus including: the
College Park Offices, Campus Operations, the Park Avenue Warehouse and
the campus Shuttle Office. Until further notice, occupants of these
buildings and offices should not drink the water or use it for food
preparation. The water is safe for other use.

A water main break in the area Sunday afternoon shut off water service
to this part of campus. Service has been restored. However, when a
line breaks there is a chance that contaminants can enter the water
supply and a boil advisory (typically 72 hours long) is issued as a
precaution.

The remainder of campus is not affected. Watch Campus Update for
additional information and an "all clear."
