*Toledo Area Power Update
There are still people who don't have power in the Toledo area. Toledo Edison reports less than 700 people are still out in Lucas County. But the company says everyone should be back online later today.
*Promenade Park Changes
The Promenade Park of yesterday - sure won't look like the one of tomorrow. As part of the Toledo waterways initiative, crews are removing trees and the land will be filled in to make it more level. The decade-long project aims to reduce runoff from Toledo sewers into waterways.

*MI – Officer's Fatal Embrace
Detroit police say a woman was fatally shot when she hugged an off-duty police officer while dancing at a party, causing the officer's service weapon to fire. Authorities say the shooting happened at an outdoor social gathering about 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
*OH – Gas Prices Update
Gas is costing Ohioans an extra quarter per gallon compared to a week ago. The average price for a gallon jumped to 3-51 according to AAA. That's about 26 cents more than the average price last week. The good news? The price is about ten cents cheaper than this time last year.

*President to ask for Tax-Cut Extension
President Obama is launching a push to extend tax cuts for the middle class. That starts with an announcement from the White House today. An administration official says the President hopes to extend tax cuts for people who make less than 250-thousand dollars a year for at least one year.
*Potential Internet Virus Today
Some people may have problems getting onto the Internet today if their computers are infected with a malicious virus. Experts say the malware actually infected computers more than a year ago, but could prevent access to the Internet today.
