Facebook Phony in Court

Posted: Updated:

A Toledo man accused of scamming women is expected in Toledo Municipal court this morning.

Police say David Klotz is homeless but he used aliases on a number of websites to post pictures and information about jobs he's never had. They say he was using Facebook to deceive women and take their money.

One of his alleged victims, a Toledo woman, spoke with WXYZ in Detroit. She says after a rocky romance she had enough of him. The former girlfriend said, "I don't think he knows how to tell the truth. I think everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie."

She says Klotz ran up her credit cards and drained her savings after he promised her that she would get paid six figures for a job in his company.

The woman also claims he bit her during an argument.
