Suspicious powder shuts down traffic.

Posted: Updated:
TOLEDO, Ohio -

A suspicious white powdery substance on the shoulder of Southbound I-75 under the Expressway Drive overpass shut down traffic to one lane Friday.

The substance was in a pile about six inches tall and two feet long. It's believed the substance may have come from a truck.

Crews took a sample of the substance and sent it for testing, but do not believe it's hazardous.

ODOT was on the scene to direct traffic and Expressway Drive overpass has been reopened.
