State troopers are investigating a crash that sent a woman to the hospital Monday afternoon. It happened around 1 p.m. on State Road 281 in Portage Township.
Investigators say a concrete truck came to a stop, but a car behind it failed to stop in time, hitting the truck.
The driver of the car, Alisa Camden, 21, became trapped and had to be extradited. She was taken by Life Flight to Mercy Saint V's and is listed in critical condition.
