BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -

Presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney was in Bowling Green Wednesday and he wasted no time going after President Obama.  The former Massachusetts governor says the President does not understand the culture of this country and his policies do not strengthen job growth.

"More time won't make things better.  His policies have hurt job creation, not helped and if you don't believe me go talk to any business person," said Romney.

Amid the attacks, Romney detailed a 5 point plan that includes opening new markets for more US goods, energy independence and balancing the budget.

"It's not based in a philosophy that says government is the course of all answers.  It's based on recognition that free people pursuing their dreams, taking a risk and building will get American jobs again," said Romney.

Romney says Ohio's recent encouraging job news is a good model.

"It's time to have the principles you're seeing here applied in Washington.  We'll get more jobs if we do," said Romney.

13abc asked some members of the crowd what they heard that was most important to them:

"True change in America.  Change in the direction we're going, where we've been in the last 4 years Obama and his administration I think they're trying but they're being misled, misguided," said Allen Cox who attended the town hall.

"It's important to get the budget under control because I'm part of the generation that will be inheriting the national debt.," said Lydia Davis who attended the town hall.

"His improvement to job create and to make sure the older people that the treatment they held," said Samantha Zachrich who attended the town hall.

One of the items that really got the crowd on its feet was Romney's assertion that once again on day one he will repeal the Affordable Health Care law.
