Batman fans turn out for "Dark Knight Rises"

TOLEDO, Ohio -

It was night Batman fans have been waiting for "The Dark Knight Rises" on the big screen.

As the caped crusader tries to fight off Bane,  a villain with incredible strength and intellect.

Movie theaters across the country, including here in Northwest Ohio offering midnight showings.

Fans eagerly awaited the final installment of the Batman trilogy at Rave Cinemas Westfield Franklin Park.

Leading up to the premiere the theater hosted a "Dark Knight" movie marathon showing the first two films in the series.
