NASDAQ offers more money for Facebook losses

Posted: Updated:

The NASDAQ stock exchange is chipping in more money to reimburse investment firms that lost money when Facebook went public in may. This is due to computer glitches that delayed trading orders.

The revised plan calls for NASDAQ to pay 62 billion dollars to firms ensnared in the breakdown. It's reported that all payments will be in cash.

NASDAQ adds, more firms will be eligible for reimbursement under the new proposal too.
