DAYTON, Ohio -

One of the victims killed in the theater shooting in Colorado is a man from Ohio.

Matthew McQuinn, 27, from Dayton was killed after diving in front of his girlfriend and her older brother amid the gunfire.

McQuinn moved to Colorado to work as a customer service and technical support provider.

People from his hometown gathered to remember him Saturday.

Gage Hankins, 18, from Forest, Ohio was also shot in the incident but survived. Hankins was treated for a forearm injury and shrapnel around his wrist.
