Kroger is looking at offering discounts to shoppers who pay cash instead of swiping that credit card.
Kroger executives tell the Cincinnati Enquirer that the company pays hundreds of millions of dollars in credit card fees each year every time customers swipe the cards.
Kroger executives say this still in the idea stage.
