Imagine if your child was sick and there was a medicine that could make him or her better, but you weren't allowed to give it to them. That's what two northwest Ohio families are going through right now.
The Halkos of Monclova and the Kudzias of Whitehouse wait for the FDA to give the go ahead on a new experimental drug for their children. 9-year-old Kaylee Halko and 2-year-old Carly Kudzia have the accelerated aging disease Progeria.
July 25 Chuck E. Cheese Fundraiser Airport Highway location 10 am- 10 pm 15 percent of all profits for the entire day will go to Progeria Research Foundation. Kaylee and Carly will stop by around dinner time to say hello and visit.
August 2 Freeze Daddy's Monclova 5-9 p.m. Kaylee will help at the window dishing out ice cream. 20 percent of sales from 5 to 9 pm will be donated to Progeria Research Foundation
