Tiffin city schools want to renew 1 year levy

Tiffin city schools are asking voters to renew a 1 year permanent levy.

The school board approved that request Tuesday night.

According to the Advertiser Tribune, the levy would generate about $210.000 each year.

The money would be used for building maintenance or items that will last at least five years.

The original levy, which passed in 1977, has been renewed seven times.
