Arrest in Fix-a-Flat cosmetic injections after victim dies

Posted: Updated:

A transgender woman accused of performing cosmetic buttocks injections with fix-a-flat and cement was arrested again this week after one of the alleged victims died.

Police allege Oneal Morris injected clients with the mixture, then used super glue to seal the incisions.

One of those patients Shatarka Nuby died earlier this year.  An assistant medical examiner determined the 32-year-old Nuby died from the cosmetic injections.

Nuby's family was pleased with news of Morris' arrest.

"This guy finally got arrested. I'm just jumping up and down."

Morris is charged with manslaughter and causing bodily harm by practicing medicine without a license.

And this isn't her first run-in with the law. She was arrested and charged earlier this year for practicing without a license.  She pleaded "not guilty" in April.
