Signs economy stalling out again

Posted: Updated:

There are new reasons to worry that the economy is stalling again, three years after the end of the recession.

The government says the US economy grew at an annual rate of just 1.5 % from April through June as Americans cut back sharply on spending.

Growth at or below 2% isn't enough to lower the unemployment rate. But most economists don't expect growth to pick up much in the second half of the year.
