Romney campaign launches “Mitt’s VP” app

Posted: Updated:

Before the president landed in Mansfield, Ohio on Wednesday, Senator Rob Portman took the opportunity to criticize one of the president's policies.

Portman claims the Obama administration's budget plan threatens cargo planes and hundreds of Air National Guard jobs based at Mansfield Airport.

Portman is reportedly on Romney's short list for possible VP picks. Romney hasn't made a decision just yet.

"I can assure you that, even though I have not chosen the person who will be my vice president, that person will be a conservative," he says.

If you want to be among the first to know when Romney announces his vice presidential candidate, the Romney campaign plans to make the choice public via the "Mitt's VP" smart phone app.
