TOLEDO, Ohio -

Friends and family of six women who died as the result of domestic violence in the past few weeks gathered Thursday to remember their loved ones.

"Every time I hear a story I just want to cry," said Demisha Wilborn who says her daughter Tiffany was stabbed to death by 21-year old Charles Toyer during an argument. The family says Toyer was abusive.

"I see these girls out here and I want to shout out to them just get out. Its not going to stop and its not going to change. Its going to be a whole cycle for a lifetime until he kills you or even in some case they end up killing the other person," said Wilborn.

"My daughter use to say I can't help how I feel. You can help how you feel. You can help how you feel by getting away staying away cut all contact and then your feelings will change and you can heal," said the victims mother.

Tiffany Wilborn, Amy Merrill, Lisa Gritzmaker, Leandra Frankum, Leslie Waingrow, and Jazmon Hoskins were remembered today with a moment of silence at the Violence Against Women memorial rock in front of Sanger library on Central avenue.

Wilborn's mother wants surviving victim's to know help is available.

"They have people out there that love them and these people are crying out them and begging them to get away from this person and they should listen. They should understand they don't want them to be miserable or anybody to love they want them to be safe"

We often report stories on the Ohio State Highway Patrol's K-9 unit. The dogs help Troopers find huge quantities of illegal drugs in our region every year. But between the big hits is a lot of hard work,
Ride along as an elite group of four legged crime fighters and their handlers take drugs off Northwest Ohio roads.
