Police: cut fuel line leads to Walmart diesel spill

TOLEDO, Ohio -

Crews looking into what caused a diesel leak in the parking lot of a local Walmart.

It happened Thursday evening at the store at Central and Holland-Sylvania.


Investigators say they think someone cut the fuel line to a semi-truck parked in a side lot. Diesel leaked onto the pavement.

Crews managed to keep the fuel from getting into the sewers and contained the spill. They contacted the EPA to figure out how to clean it up

Operations at Walmart were not interrupted because of the spill.
