Elderly woman killed in Groton Township crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash out of Groton Township.

81 year-old Ruth Robinson, from Sandusky, struck a small post and railroad tracks on Friday.

Her car went airborne and rolled over in a nearby cornfield.

The woman was taken to Cleveland Metro Hospital by life flight where she died Friday night.
