A local man who was declared dead is actually alive. 50-year-old Paul Pressley faced a judge today and pleaded guilty to failure to pay child support. Court officials say he owes $66,687. 85.
According to court documents Pressley went missing in 2002 that's when his family went to probate court to have him declared dead. But investigators say he skipped town to avoid taking care of his kids. He was found in April of this year
"A traffic stop was made in the state of Virginia and Mr Pressley was found to be at that traffic stop and still be alive, " said Ottawa County Sheriff Stephen Levorchick
Pressley's lawyer never returned our phone calls for comment. Tonight he's out of jail own his own recognizance.
