Dishwashers recalled for fire danger

More than a million GE dishwashers are being recalled because of a fire hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says heating elements inside the machines can fail, sparking a fire.

The recall includes about 1.3 million GE, GE Adora,  GE Eterna, GE Profile and Hotpoint dishwashers sold between March 2006 and August 2009.

If you have one of these dishwashers, officials say you should disconnect it immediately.

    Toledo firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in Toledo. The fire broke out at a home on the 1100 block of Avondale just after 11:30pm Tuesday. Dispatchers tell us heavy flames are showing.
