A plane crashed in Monroe county last night and the entire thing was caught on tape.
The Monroe County Sheriff's office says Wilbert Matthes, 84, was trying to land his experimental aircraft in Ida Township around 8:30 Sunday night when he clipped a power line.
The plane took a nose dive before hitting the ground.
Matthes' grandson was recording the entire thing. The video shows the plan clipping the power line and then zooming towards the ground.
Both the pilot and his grandson suffered only minor injuries in the crash.
Officials are still investigating exactly what went wrong.
