An animal abuse suspect is in jail Tuesday afternoon. An employee at the Lucas County Dog Warden's Office was sentenced to six months in jail, but for an unrelated charge.
Aaron Nova is accused of grabbing a dog by the throat and throwing the animal while working in a kennel.
The abuse charge is a violation of the man's probation for an unrelated domestic violence conviction.
