1 arrested after shots fired near Perrysburg elementary

PERRYSBURG, Ohio -

Perrysburg police have one man in custody after gunshots were fired near an elementary school.

Police say a fight broke out Tuesday night between two people in vehicles on West South Boundary near Mulberry. Shots were fired near Frank Elementary.

Police confirm that they arrested John Vandersall at his apartment, where they say they found eight guns and several hundred rounds of ammunition.

Vandersall is charged with felonious assault.
