A man was rushed to the hospital after a nasty crash in Springfield Township Friday evening.
Troopers say the driver was going too fast down Dorr Street trying to pass several vehicles, when he crashed into two trees at Oak Park Road. His Ford Mustang was completely torn apart by the impact.
The driver was trapped in the vehicle for 30 minutes before crews got him out and rushed him to University of Toledo Medical Center.
The man was conscious but had severe leg injuries.

Toledo firefighters are on the scene of a house fire in Toledo. The fire broke out at a home on the 1100 block of Avondale just after 11:30pm Tuesday. Dispatchers tell us heavy flames are showing.
