TPS school day starts with the busses

Toledo Public School transportation employees are gearing up for another busy year. This morning employees started routes as early as 5:45 a.m.

This year there are no big changes for parents or students. Those living more than 2 miles away from school can ride the bus if they choose, those living less than 2 miles away must walk or get a ride from a parent.

High school students do no receive bussing service from the district but are eligible to purchase TARTA bus passes for the school year.

Transportation Director Brad Aemisegger suggests parents and students plan ahead this week by arriving at the bus stop early and being patient if routes are running behind.

If you have questions about the bus schedule or if you child will not be riding you are asked to call the TPS transportation office at 419-671-8541.
