The first real batch of torrential rain leftover from former Hurricane Isaac moved in to some of our southernmost counties, early this morning. Minor flooding was reported in parts of Crawford and Hardin Counties.
3.80" of rain fell in Bucyrus, Crawford County, according to a storm spotter.
3.75" of rain was reported nearby in Galion, Crawford County.
South of Findlay, some roadways were flooded about 3 miles east of Mount Victory in Hardin County.
Since the ground is saturated in this area, well south of the Turnpike, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Hancock, Wyandot, Crawford and Marion Counties, through this evening. Additional showers and thunderstorms may produce additional, heavy rainfall, primarily south of the Turnpike, late today and this evening. Showers and thunderstorms should not be as widespread or intense farther to the north.

Portions of Moore, Oklahoma were ravaged by a mile-wide tornado this Monday afternoon. This follows a near-record quiet start to tornado season. Strong storms may reach northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan by Tuesday.
